On Saturday the 28th of September, the bravest of souls will line up for the Carlingford Adverture Race (CAR).

At 10am, all the training, the pushing of limits, the early morning sessions, the hard days in the gym, the long days on the bike will all be worth it, as you grit your teeth in eager anticipation and say to yourself, “I’ve got this!”.

Ahead lies a multisport race. A kayak leg on the beautiful waters of Ireland’s most beautiful Fjord. Then a cycle taking you through the undulating Cooley mountains, up to the legendary Long Woman’s Grave and back to the shore. Here you’ll don your runners for a mountain run featuring a 652m ascent to a turnaround point that will take your breath away, both from the effort and the outstanding view. Then a hair-raising descent down from the peak, through a medieval village, ending where it all began, with you telling yourself “I’ve got this!” as you triumphantly cross the finish line.
