SUMMARY:Lilliput Legend Adventure Race
DESCRIPTION:Lilliput Adventure Race \n\nKayak across peaceful & tranquil Lough Ennell.\nCycle through the splendour of the Esker Riada & The Bog of Allen.\nRun\, jog\, walk\, climb\, over the extinct volcano that is Croghan Hill to one of Ireland’s greatest view points\n\nKayak though the crannogs of King Malachy on Lough Ennell\, Cycle through the splendor of the bog of Allen and run\, stumble\, hike\, climb\, over the extinct volcano that is Croghan Hill to one of Ireland’s greatest view points. The whole event is based from Lilliput Adventure Centre where there will be Free Camping Facilities\, Free Parking Facilities\, Free Showering Facilities and Dining Facilities. \nLilliput Legend will take place on Saturday 11th July starting at 10 a.m. \nThis course is ideal for 1st time adventure racers as\, while it is demanding & challenging the bike section is relatively flat. \nThe race will have wave starts approx every 30 minutes rated on ability & numbers. \nMini\n\n\n\nKayak\n1.5 km*\n\n\nRun\n 2.5 km*\n\n\nCycle\n21 km*\n\n\nTOTAL: (*Approx)\n25 km*\n\n\n\nSport\n\n\n\nRun\n5 km*\n\n\nBike\n38 km*\n\n\nKayak\n2 km*\n\n\nClimb\n770 ft*\n\n\nTOTAL: (*Approx)\n45 km*\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKayak\n2 km on Lough Ennell\n\n\nCycle\n19 km to Croghan\n\n\n**Run\n5 km over Croghan Hill with 770 ft climb\n\n\nCycle\n19 km to Lilliput Adventure Centre\n\n\n\n\n**Note:  There will be some obstacles along the Croghan Hill leg of the race.  These will require you to climb over them. \nUltra\n\n\n\nKayak\n2 km*\n\n\nCycle\n53 km*\n\n\nRun\n10 km*\n\n\nClimb\n770 ft*\n\n\nTOTAL: (*Approx)\n65 km*\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKayak\n2 km on Lough Ennell\n\n\nCycle\n34 km to Croghan\n\n\n**Run\n10 km over Croghan Hill with 770 ft climb\n\n\nCycle\n19 km to Lilliput Adventure Centre\n\n\n\nEntry Fee\nEntry Fee: € 50.00.(TBC) Online entries close @ 6 p.m. on Friday 19th July.\nEntry Fee includes: \n\nLilliput Legend T-Shirt ( you will really want to wear this one)\nGoody Bag\nCourse Map\, Race Number\, Hot meal\nDrink & Food stations (recommended that you are self sufficient)\nComplimentary Camping and Showers\nComplimentary Parking\nFully Supervised Transition Areas\nFully marshaled routes for your safety along with the backup of The Order of Malta & The Civil Defence on the more remote sections of the Legend\nFree post event massage for those weary limbs
